Bratislava Boys Choir

St. Madeleine, Paris

A group of concerts performed in Paris was a highlight of the season. The magnificent church in the heart of the city hosted the revisiting Bratislava Boys’ Choir as it performed its sweeping sacred music program. Soloists Ondrej Bajan, Juraj Kuchár, Miško Smažák and the choir’s resident vocal coach Miriam Garajová received acclaim from a demanding audience. The concert was accompanied by pianist Dana Hajóssy and conducted by Magdaléna Rovňáková and Gabriel Rovňák Jr.

 

Théâtre le Ranelagh hosted a concert where the choir sang works from its secular music repertoire. Local connoisseurs had a chance to encounter a few treasures from the chest of Slovak choir music.
